Privacy

The site

astrostella.app has no cookies, no visitor counters and no ads. I don't track where visitors come from, which pages they open or what they click.

There are no forms here that send your data to a server. When you enter your date of birth in the calculator or on the home page, the sign is worked out right in your browser. The date stays with you.

Hosting: Cloudflare

The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare receives the IP address a request comes from: without it, a page simply can't be delivered. Cloudflare uses it to serve the page and protect the site from attacks, and records requests in its own logs. Beyond that, the site learns nothing about you.

Daily horoscope — @AstroStellaBot

The bot stores only your sign. If you've subscribed to the morning horoscope, it also keeps the delivery hour and your time zone, so that my horoscope arrives on time and not in the middle of the night.

If you ask the bot “what's my sign?” and give your date of birth, it remembers only the resulting sign. It doesn't store the date itself.

Birth chart — @NatalChartMakerBot

To build a chart, the bot needs your date, time and city of birth. It keeps your chart along with this data so it can show it to you again when you come back — and you won't have to enter everything a second time.

How to delete everything

Send the bot the /forget command, and it will delete everything it stores about you. After that you can start from scratch or simply leave: I won't be offended.

If anything here changes, I'll update this page straight away.
